How to install Android M developer preview on your android device


Android M developer preview has been announced by Google on Google i/o 2015. Android M developer version has expected to have major features of the Android M but some of the Android M developer users said that features like Google Pay aren't working. Original Android M version will be rolled out later this year but this is for who want a sneak peek into android M earlier!

So here we are How to install Android M developer preview on android device. Google has released a developer preview image only for nexus device! so you can't install this preview version on other brand phones.

If you have nexus device you can install Android M developer preview on phone right now, Just follow the steps listed below.


  • Download Android M developer preview image from here 
 Note: Android M developer preview is available on Nexus 5, 6, 9 and Nexus player devices only.

  • Now extract the file and copy it to folder 
  • Enable USB debugging under developer options
  • Connect your device to computer via USB cable
  • Download ADB tool from here
  • Open ADB tool and type adb reboot bootloader (This will boot your device into bootloader)

  • Now type flash-all.bat and hit enter (This command will flash the preview files to your phone)

This will erase all your previous data so make a backup before flashing the developer preview on your device. First reboot will take some time!
